Nagaland Governor death has been confirmed this evening after Hon’ble Governor La. Ganesan, aged 80, passed away at Apollo Hospital, Chennai at 6:23 p.m. on the 79th Independence Day. Also Read Nagaland University Hosts Tiranga Rally for 79th Independence Day

According to medical sources, the Governor had been admitted to Apollo Hospital on August 8 after suffering a serious head injury from a fall at his T. Nagar residence. Career and Contributions

La. Ganesan, a senior political leader and former Rajya Sabha MP, was appointed as the 21st Governor of Nagaland in February 2023.
