WOKHA, June 28 2025 — In a strong demonstration of law enforcement vigilance, personnel from the Bhandari Check Gate and the Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) intercepted and seized illegal narcotics during two separate operations conducted under routine Motor Vehicle Checking Points (MVCP) in Wokha district.

The successful interceptions resulted in the arrest of two individuals. Both have been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and investigations are currently underway at the Bhandari Police Station.

The Wokha Police have reiterated their commitment to eradicating drug trafficking and related criminal activities from the district. Authorities have urged the public to remain alert and report any suspicious behavior to law enforcement agencies.
