The Sümi Youth Organization (SYO) has issued an official notice against two Facebook users, identified by the usernames ‘Dorzen Ayemi’ and ‘Chishi Official’, for allegedly making divisive and derogatory remarks on social media related to the recently concluded Dr. T Ao Trophy match between Mon team and Niuland team.

According to the SYO, the remarks have caused deep concern, being viewed as detrimental to unity and brotherhood among the people. Also Read Sümi Hoho Demands Action to Save Zunheboto Government College

The organization referred to its Resolution No. 1, adopted on 5th August 2024 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima, which prohibits actions that incite hatred, disturb public tranquility, or provoke enmity among tribes. The SYO stated that the actions of the two users bypassed this resolution, thereby warranting immediate attention.

The notice directs the two individuals to appear before the SYO Public-Grievances Cell (Sumi Hoho Ki) at Zunheboto on August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM. They are required to provide clarification and show cause as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against them for violating the resolution.
