The Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto, one of the largest Baptist churches in Asia, hosted a two-day Revival Crusade in collaboration with Skysam Church, Seoul, on August 23 and 24. The event marked a significant moment of spiritual renewal, drawing more than 8,000 worshippers from different walks of life.

The services were led by renowned South Korean pastor Rev. Sky Dadah Oh, who preached under the theme “True Freedom Through Christ: Freedom from evil and temptation.” His sermons encouraged believers to overcome life’s struggles through faith, prayer, and spiritual discipline. Rev. Oh also shared his personal testimony of gratitude, revealing that he makes it a practice to say “Thank You, Jesus” at least 3,000 times each day. “Sometimes people assume I’m powerful, but it’s not me it’s God working through me. If you have faith and believe, it shall be done according to His will,” he said.

Across three services, the congregation experienced uplifting messages, songs of praise, and moments of deep prayer. The final service was chaired by Livika S. Yeptho, with a revival song presented by the South Point West Prayer Fellowship. Also Read NPYF Nagaland Condemns Detention of Kerala Nuns in Chhattisgarh

The program also featured contributions from church leaders and members: the invocation prayer by Khekugha N. Zhimo, special song from Nogheli Chipiku, offertory prayer by Kabo Achumi, and scripture reading by Ghutoshe Katty, Deacon of Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto.

The crusade concluded with a spirit of unity and gratitude, leaving a lasting impression on the congregation and further strengthening the spiritual bond between the partnering churches of Zunheboto and Seoul.
