An armed operation was reported early morning in Myanmar. Sources describe it as a retaliatory strike targeting an NSCN-YA camp in the Khamti region.

According to information received, a Mobile-6 unit launched the operation at around 6:00 a.m. (Myanmar time) against a jungle camp located at the 18-Mile area between Taka and Nampha. Sources claimed that the operation resulted in casualties among NSCN-YA cadres. Control of the camp was taken. However, due to the remoteness of the area and communication constraints, independent verification of casualty figures remains unavailable at the time of reporting.
