An armed operation was reported early morning in Myanmar. Sources describe it as a retaliatory strike targeting an NSCN-YA camp in the Khamti region.

According to information received, a Mobile-6 unit launched the operation at around 6:00 a.m. (Myanmar time) against a jungle camp located at the 18-Mile area between Taka and Nampha.
