In Zunheboto, Nagaland, gas agencies such as MS Paramount, Tizu Gas Agency, and M/S Omni Gas Agency are vital in delivering Zunheboto LPG supply, offering clean, reliable cooking fuel to countless families. Despite hilly terrain and seasonal challenges, these agencies remain committed to providing safe and uninterrupted cooking clean fuel.

MS Paramount Gas Agency — A Trusted Pillar

Located in South Point Colony, MS Paramount has been an authorised Indane distributor since December 2009, under the dedicated leadership of Manager Tonoka. Renowned for its dependable Zunheboto LPG supply, the agency handles 4–5 LPG-filled deliveries monthly, each carrying 324–348 cylinders. In July 2025, it delivered 1,856 cylinders, underscoring rising demand for clean cooking fuel in the region. Also Read Zunheboto Government College Road in Crisis

Every cylinder (29.9 kg full; 15.7 kg empty) is meticulously inspected—leaking or faulty units are promptly returned. Safety is non-negotiable: fire extinguishers, leak detectors, and weighing machines stand ready throughout the premises. A full LPG connection, including cylinder, regulator, hose, stove, and accessories, costs around ₹10,000 and comes with expert installation and usage training. Even during monsoon-induced delays, MS Paramount works hard to maintain reliable LPG services.

Tizu Gas Agency — Meeting Demand Through Ujjwala

Operating from Old Town Colony since 2020, Tizu Gas Agency joined the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana initiative. Manager Kiyelu shares that the scheme helped roll out over 1,000 standard LPG connections initially. Today, the agency supports approximately 1,800 households in Zunheboto. It fills about 836 cylinders per month, priced at ₹950 for cardholders—with convenient home delivery at ₹1,000 per cylinder, managed via a Bolero pickup. Safety protocols include leak and expiry checks. Though the weighing machine is temporarily under repair in Dimapur, fire extinguishers, leak detectors, and emergency gear remain in place. Full connections (two cylinders plus equipment) range from ₹8,500 to ₹10,000, with partial options around ₹5,000.

M/S Omni Gas Agency — A New Choice

Established in September 2022 at DC Hill Colony, M/S Omni Gas Agency operates under Hemkund Gases Pvt. Ltd., Kohima, and serves roughly 900 customers. Its cylinders are priced at ₹1,050 per refill; new connections—including cylinder, stove, and regulator—cost ₹8,000. Each month, 50–60 refills are delivered using a Bolero pickup carrying 60 cylinders per trip.

While equipped with two fire extinguishers, the agency currently lacks leak detectors and weighing scales—highlighting areas for safety enhancement.

Multiple Agencies, One Goal: Clean Cooking Fuel

The collaboration of MS Paramount, Tizu, and Omni guarantees that Zunheboto residents enjoy reliable LPG supply, empowering them with cleaner, healthier cooking alternatives and reducing reliance on traditional fuels like firewood.

Why This Matters

  • Health & Environment: Access to clean LPG fuel significantly improves indoor air quality and lowers health risks.
  • Energy Access: These gas agencies ensure equitable fuel distribution across rural and urban households.
  • Safety First: With safety measures—fire extinguishers, leak checks, trained installation—these agencies prioritize responsible usage.
  • Economic Support: Affordable connections under schemes like Ujjwala and flexible pricing enhance local purchasing power.

Editorial Note

This exclusive report spotlights how dedicated gas agencies are uplifting the community in Zunheboto through reliable LPG supply and clean cooking energy solutions. It underscores the critical role of public and private agency collaboration in enhancing quality of life.
